TrojanHunter has many detections for DNSchanger...there are many variants of this malicious software. If you have TrojanHunter installed on your system, be sure that the latest rulesets are installed via the LiveUpdate feature of TrojanHunter. 1. Reboot your computer into SAFE MODE. 2. Run a FULL scan of your system with TrojanHunter. Permit it to Quarantine what it finds. 3. Then reboot back into Normal Mode. 4. Go to the link below and download/install Hijackthis. http://www.misec.net/forum/board/FAQ/1163329424 5. Run a Hijackthis scan and post the scan log back here. 6. Post the Scan Report from TrojanHunter's scan. The scan report is found in folder Scan Reports located at C:\Program Files\TrojanHunter 5.0\Scan Reports IF TrojanHunter does not correct this problem on your system, please do the following: 1. Go to the link below and download/install freebie MalwareBytes Anti-Malware. http://www.malwarebytes.org/ 2. Open MalwareBytes and click on the Update tab. Run the update to obtain the latest definitions. 3. Then click on the Scanner tab, select "Perform Quick Scan". Run the quick scan. 4. Let MBAM quarantine/fix what it finds. 5. Post back here the scan log of MBAM. Also state whether the problem is resolved.
