Hello all. I use to have THG4 installed a couple of years ago. I did not renew thinking I was protected with another A/V software program. As it turns out, this has been a major error and hard lesson. To wit, the following situation has occurred and I am desperate to the point with seeking resolution from the numerous experts within this forum. I have downloaded a codec with very well produced social engineering, and picked up the nastiest Trojan ever experienced. As the subject implies it is the TrojanDownloader.Zlop.661. When conducting extensive research it became readily apparent there is nothing to be found with this particular variant (and there are many). There is information with many other but they do not apply to the Zlop.661 variant. I have downloaded every known shareware program known to man claiming to eliminate this Trojan and the plethora of entries throughout the Running Processes, Registry, Windows folder and the Program folder. Specifically, the Trojan location is C:\Program Files\Panda Security\Panda Internet Security 2008\ClSends.dll\TrojanDownloader.Zlop.661 The ClSends.dll file is the primary infection location as indicated by THG4. I am at the point of a complete erase/reformat and this will cause so much anguish with PRICELESS lost data. Please, I ask anyone with the knowledge and ingratiating kindness, to assist me with eliminating this most devious of malware. Signed, Idiot of the day
