Trojan FatObfus.Gen

  Hi  I ran a scan on my anti-virus app.(Bit Defender)I came up with a trojan called "FatObus.Gen" How can I kill this thing?That is the reason I paid $50.00 for Trojun Hunter.  stvh1

Would you please do the following so that we can possibly see what this infection is about.
 
1.  First make all your files and folders visible.  The link below describes how to do this.

2.  Please install Hijackthis.  The link below describes how to install HiJackthis.
 
http://www.misec.net/forum/board/FAQ/1163329424
 
3.  Run TrojanHunter's LiveUpdate to obtain the latest rulesets.
 
4.  Reboot your computer into SAFE MODE.  
 
5.  Run a full system scan with TrojanHunter.  Let it quarantine/fix anything it finds.  When the scan is completed and anything found is fixed, save a TH log.  This is under the FILE menu in the top menu bar of TH scanner.  
 
6.  Reboot your computer back into NORMAL MODE.
 
7.  Post back here the log report from the TrojanHunter scan.
 
8.  Run a HiJackthis scan and post the scan log here.
