Deepthroat 3.1 Infection

I appreciate your product.  I downloaded a few days ago because I noticed my computer attempts to dialup through my modem automatically at each start up with 3 attempts.  When I looked at "Low Priority Intrusion Details" I found the following comment:

Backdoor Deepthroat 3.1 connection attempt
Backdoor Deepthroat 3.1 server response
Backdoor Deepthroat 3.1 connection attempt 3150
Backdoor Deepthroat 3.1 server response 3150
Backdoor Deepthroat 3.1 connection attempt 4120
Backdoor Deepthroat 3.1 server response 4120

After researching this, I see it is a rather nasty trojan allowing remote recording of keystrokes, screen shots, etc.  I downloaded Trojan Hunter Guard, and have completed full scans but it finds no associated files with Deepthroat 3.1.

I notice that when the modem connection attempts initiate at startup, it does so before the Kerio Firewall can load.  Only after I cancel out the 3 connect attempts does the Firewall finally load.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.  Thanks.

bunkerhiding,

Are you wanting your computer to connect to the Internet on startup or is this activity something that has just begun?

Go to Internet Explorer-Tools-Internet Options-Connection and set your dialup to Never Dial a Connection and see if this dialout attempt still occurs.
