What festive new year cheer the world of malware brings - look, they're even sending us a joke from a really crap cracker... Grin

Autodes is a joke which displays a series of messages that attempt to trick the user into thinking that the program will self-destruct in ten seconds. Autodes can reach the computer in two ways: via e-mail in an attachment sent by a friend that intends to play a joke on the user; or voluntarily downloaded from websites that offer free programs.
 
Autodes is very easy to recognize as it displays the following message on screen once it is run "Este programa se autodestruirá en 10, 9, 8..." (This program will self-destruct in 10, 9, 8..."). When the countdown reaches zero, Autodes displays another message, explaining that it was only a joke.  
 
Bookmark.B is a Trojan that changes the home page of the Internet Explorer browser, deletes links in the Favorites folder, and adds links to pornographic websites. It also overwrites the HOSTS file in order to redirect the default search page to a specific IP address.
