Hi, Trojan Hunter found ontarget.100 one of our systems - however we think it is just detecting TightVNC, because as soon as we clean it, we lose connection to the computer -we are remote viewing using tTightVNC, and then have to re-install TightVNC. Is our copy of TightVNC infected or has Trojan Hunter just incorrectly detected it?

sorry for being dense but where does it put it after it has cleaned the file? This is what it comes up with after a full scan:-
Found trojan running in memory: WinVNC.exe, PID: 4664 (OnTarget.100)

Same directory as the original file, but with a .tcf extension.

I am getting the same notice of the OnTarget.100 trojan when TightVNC is running.  Interestingly, when I shut down TightVNC and do a Full Scan, no problems are detected.  I did a search on Google and found that some other AV/AT software detected the OnTarget trojan in recent versions of TightVNC as well.  It was assumed to be a false positive in the cases I read.

I am running TightVNC 1.2.9 with the latest TrojanHunter defs.
