magnus when some one sents you a trojan what do you do with it as far as who has the client Huh?? when you open a trojan do you see what it hooks up to Huh and if so do you watch what there doing Huh? maybe give them the nice try fool hehehe...with what you see are you involved with going after these people and there web sites that hack by tricking people into downloading trojans...just curious..Dave

Trojan analysis is done on "sandbox" computers which aren't connected to the net in any way. In all likelyhood, many of the servers that arrive here have "ICQ Notify", "E-mail notify" and a lot of other settings, but those details aren't important to getting TrojanHunter to detect the trojan so I don't look any further into them.

Dave, yeah Cheesy that would be nice but counter-productive. Undecided  Doing something like that would make your computer the focus of some Trojan-Maker and give them a personal desire to get even.  The goal should always be to be, safety of your computing experience.

A little while after downloading Trojan Hunter, I tried to open leaktest, Trojan Hunter popped right up, saying it was a memory resident trojan of some kind, cleaned it and marked that file.
 
I'm not too worried now about trojans anymore  Smiley
 
There are always gonna be idiots on the internet, and it dosnt matter if they're getting even or if they're on some kind of power trip, or whatever, the important thing is how secure your computer is.
 
I havnt been using this product too long yet, but so far I'm impressed.  One more plate of armor for this computer  Smiley
 
Can someone tell me how to get a picture?  i want a roadrunner.

Sure, Ferret.
 
Go to your 'Profile' and the bit halfway down gives you the option of picking a character. I don't think there's a roadrunner in the standard list, but if you have one on a web site (or know where one is) then you can link to it by using the URL. A few folk here have done this, (here and elsewhere, like Becky's Forum) - check out MickeyTheMan or BlackSheep's post for some (I know there are others, but I can't remember them right now Grin).
