TrojanHunter 5.1 Build 975 Released

A new build of TrojanHunter is available for download:
 
http://www.misec.net/products/TrojanHunterSetup.exe
 
 
This new build removes the password-entry requirement for scheduled scans and updates. It also reverts the scheduled scanning to once again use thcl.exe (the TrojanHunter command-line scanner).
 
Tom: Does this build resolve the problems you encountered in the previous two builds?

Works OK for me on Vista 32 bit ultimate. Enabled scan and ran it in taski scheduler---ran OK, but took a while to start.
 
Also "Visible" scan created formerly in task scheduler also runs OK, as does live update task created in task scheduler,

Build 975 solved none of the three issues on Vista SP2 RTM x64 that I previously posted.  I'm back to build 962.

Have you set Vista to use DEP (Data Execution Protection) for all programs? If so, can you try turning that off and see if TrojanHunter now works?

Alright, it seems to be related to port scanning. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing on Vista?  
 
Until this is resolved, please install and use build 962 of TrojanHunter, available at http://www.misec.net/products/vista/TrojanHunterSetup.exe

Just out of curiosity...  
 
On the TH homepage it say TH version 5.1 build 975
 
I uninstalled my 5.0 build 562 and installed latest version.
 
I still says 5.0 build 562
 
Which version is current?
 
If it is 5.1 build 975, where to dl it?

Magnus has temporarily retracted V5.1 because of numerous problems with it.  He is working to correct these problems.  
 
You should be running V5.0.962 which is the build that is currently on the download links.
