thsec.dll detected as Backdoor.Win32.Hupigon.crhr

Hello Kaspersky antivirus today identified thsec.dll from trojanhunter-5 directory as  "Backdoor.Win32.Hupigon.crhr". I uninstalled TrojanHunter5, deleted folder then reinstalled but with same trojan detection by Kaspersky. Thsec.dll was then submitted to virustotal for further analysis (http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/07bff0d14a63489d444365b905d321f9), with 8 antivirus programs picked it up as a trojan. Please advise.

THSec.dll is not a malicious file.  This is a False Positive by these 6 (only 6 are showing it right now) AV in "jotti" scan at

http://virusscan.jotti.org/

Please report it to your Kaspersky vendor that they are detecting this false positive.

http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=13881

You should be able to instruct your Kaspersky software to ignore this False Positive.

I am having a similar problem with THSec.DLL and Norton Anti-Virus Corporate Edition 2000 Version 7.60.926 except it reports this file as Backdoor.Graybird and successfully quarantines it.  I hope you can let Norton AV know to fix this too?  In the meantime will my TH Guard work without this file?

THGuard needs THSec.dll for THGuard to function properly.

Does your NAV Corporate Edition have an option to add THSec.dll as an exception so that it does not detect it?

Below is a link for Symantec so that you can submit THSec.dll and tell them they are detecting a false positive on your specific version of NAV.
