XP Pro SP2
TH has been installed  for some time and worked fine with no problems.
Ihave recently teplaced the primary drive and reinstalled stuff including TH
'Now on boot up  I get put disk in drive warning'
With the file headed TH.exe and it is looking for a non existing drive letter,
I uninstalled  TH,  rebooted, booted 'clean'
Re installed TH and immediatelt the put disk in drive came up.
What is the next move please

Welcome to the forum jackboy  Wink

What version of TrojanHunter are you running?  Is it a licensed version?

Please try this.

Do a search for the file named TreeStat.dat .  Delete the file TreeStat.dat

Then open TrojanHunter.exe.  This will automatically rebuild file TreeStat.dat.

If the above does not resolve the issue, please follow the instructions in the link below to uninstall and re-install TrojanHunter.

Thank you for the rapid response.
1. A search for  TreeStat.dat [copy/pasted to ensure accuracy] turned up no file.
2. Following the steps uninstalled the program
Reinstalled the program
Immediately the problem returned

This is registered version  4.5  build B924
the licence code  (License number edited out - please don't post this in a public forum as your license may become invalidated!)

V4.5 is an extremely old version.  I don't think that the rulesets will properly update using this old of a version.  You need to update to the latest V5.0.962 which can be obtained from the "Download TrojanHunter Now" link at the top of this forum.

Are you sure that you have the latest Windows Installer since you reloaded XP?
