Hmmm... This problem may be caused by junk in your system registry that needs to be cleaned out for Windows Explorer and other programs. Do you have a registry cleaner third party program on your system such as jv16 Powertools, RegSupreme, or Ace Utilities? If not, you can trial RegSupreme from the link below. If my memory is correct, the Trial version has limitations of permitting you to delete only 15 bad registry entries at a time. This means that it takes multiple runs to clean a dirty registry. If you have never cleaned your registry, expect to see 1000+ bad registry keys on the first run. http://www.macecraft.com/ BE SURE to create a System Restore point or system backup prior to running a registry cleaning program. - You can do a registry cleaning while running in Normal Mode. You do not need to close down any specific programs. - Reboot your system after completing the registry cleaning.
