The uninstaller of TrojanHunter leaves behind the primary folder (example: C:\Program Files\TrojanHunter 4.7 folder) with the License.tlf file and the Ignore list. That way the user can, if desired, move the License.tlf file and the Ignore list into the new version's folder once the new version is installed and then delete the old version's folder. Therefore, there are registry entries that also get left behind by the uninstaller. I put together the installation instructions in the FAQ section so that it would show how to completely get rid of old versions of TH when a new version is installed. I did not include anything concerning registry cleaners because I feel it is potentially hazardous for "novice" users to run registry cleaners. Too much potential of a registry cleaner inadvertently removing something vital in the system registry....particularly with new Vista. Developers of registry cleaners are still "learning" Vista too. In TH V5.0, one of the best new features is the program LiveUpdate feature which downloads/installs program revisions. Once the learning curve bugs are all ironed out (considering all the various Windows OS systems, configurations, etc.), users will not have to be concerned about "installation instructions". Magnus is about to post a new version of TH that will have to be manually installed because it has changes in LiveUpdate itself. LiveUpdate cannot update itself. Magnus stated that is new version will be available in the next week or so.
