trojan hunter 5 keeps crashing

Please help . im no good with computers , ive a trojan and all the articals i read said trojan hunter , i bought it and now its scans for 40 seconds and crashes . i do think this is only when it scans files rather than everything else and im relly pleased to say i have 8 port errors also . please help me get my life back  . Please reboot your computer into SAFE MODE and attempt to run a full scan with TrojanHunter 5.0.  Let it quarantine anything it finds as malicious during the scan.  
 
Please post back here the scan report from the TH scan once you reboot back into Normal Mode.

thankyou for the reply . i thin im already in safe mode . not 100 percent sure as my computer is turkish an im not . but it still keeps  dying on me .  i can do quick scans and it finds nothing but go to full scan and thats it

What Windows Operating system are you using?

When you reboot your computer, as soon as the first black screen appears, starting rapidily tapping the F8 key on the keyboard.  Keep tapping it until you get a screen that permits you to select the mode of start up.  The first in the list should be SAFE MODE.  Use the up/down arrow on the keyboard to select/highlight SAFE MODE.  Then press the Enter key and let it boot up in SAFE MODE.  Windows will look entirely different after booting into SAFE MODE.
 
Then try a full scan with TrojanHunter.  
 
Were you in SAFE MODE?

ok right . im in safe mode with internet access . just trying full scan but it seems stuck on a file called i386\compdata\crystal.txt and i have ten port problems reported on two ports one is 9999 and 12346

Try renaming the TrojanHunter Scanner executable from TrojanHunter.exe to Test.exe. That will activate further protective methods so that trojans will have a harder time finding the scanner. Then run a Full Scan (from Safe Mode) and report your findings back.

Okay.  
 
Let's see if we can get it to "scan around" the I386 folder and complete a full scan.
 
1.  Open TH scanner
 
2.  Select the Scan icon on the left icon bar.
 
3.  Click on the + sign next to your C: drive to expand the tree.
 
4.   Click on the + sign next to the Windows folder to expand the Windows folder tree.
 
5.  Click on the + sign next the to System32 folder to expand the System32 folder.
 
6.  Uncheck the I386 folder.
 
Now try a Full Scan.

ok i did that and we didnt get past 6 seconds of scanning . i tried this 3 times always withn the same results the scanner just reads inifile scan top bar menu has gone and program not responding.. Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

Try unchecking "Scan zip-files", "Scan rar-files" and "Scan binded executables". Then run a full scan from Safe Mode (without networking) and report your results back. Any scan logs you get would also be helpful.
