The test used ONE server, and since it wasn't covered the failure to detect the packed variants were blown hugely out of proportion. After adding ONE Process Rule for the latest update, TrojanHuner correctly identifies ALL of the packed variants in memory. If any other SubSeven server had been used, I could virtually guarantee that the results would have looked vastly different, but then that's what happens when you only use one trojan in a test. In a test last year by a German site (trojaner-info), TrojanHunter outperformed all the applications in Eric's test that also took part in that test. IIRC, they used 5 trojans. At any rate, the trojan from Eric Howes' test is now fully detected with the latest update.
