Hi Magnus,  
everything with TrojanHunter 2.52 was okay. Smiley  
 
Today I installed the new IE 6.0 Patch Q316059 (German version).  After this the TrojanHunter Guard didn't start. I tried a lot of to start the guard. But nothing happened. Sad
 
Deinstallation of TrojanHunter, restart of the system, new installation...and the TrojanHunter Guard works again Smiley
 
The IE Patch made also troubles with another program.  Angry

Upgrade to TrojanHunter 2.53 when it is available to fix this. (It should be out today or tomorrow.)

So that's what it was! I wondered why I had to do the deinstall thing to reactivate THGuard! BTW, that Q316059 update also applies to earlier versions of IE - mine's 5.5sp2, (I think it applies back to 5.01). What did MS change that caused this?
 
Got the 2.53 update today  Cheesy.

I was a little concerned myself, but I didn't even notice it wasn't there for a day or two.  Guess I have other things on my mind lately and am not so multi-tasking as I ought to be.  Huh  I was thinking though that it might be nice for Trojan Hunter Scanner to have a dialog to tell us that TH_guard is not activated when the scanner is run.

That sounds like something that might be included in a future version of TrojanHunter. My only concern is that it could annoy people who genuinely don't want TrojanHunter Guard loaded (though I can't see why anyone wouldn't want to have it running). Perhaps it could be an option that defaults to not being enabled.
