Ruleset update: 0xx-2001-12-20

The latest update contains 1797 detection rules.
(17 added since last update)
 
To install the rule files, download  
 
  http://www.mischel.dhs.org/rulefiles/0xx-2001-12-20.zip
 
and unzip the files in the archive to the TrojanHunter program  
directory. Note that you must close TrojanHunter before doing this.
 
Users of TrojanHunter 2.0 can use the LiveUpdate function built into the program to automatically update their rule files.

I have a problem I cant get connection to your server to download the up-date, the server is busy and stays busy. Normally there is no problem te download the up-date file, but this time

The update and web servers are currently moving from the Windows platform to UNIX, so there may be some downtime (also with respect to DNS changes). It should all be working again shortly (and with a new design for the web site!). I apologize for any inconvenience.

I have a problem using the update feature. I always get the following error - "Invalid string format in thupdate.txt (""). Please try again later." Please help me.... Thanks.    OOPS.....   Neglected to mention that I am running TH 2.5 Beta 2 when I have this problem (also had same problem when I was running the evaluation version of TH 2). My OS is Windows XP Home Edition. I saw "TrojanHunter 2.5/Tools/LiveUpdate/RuleFileConverter.exe" but it seems to only access drive d and I was trying to put the rules on a 3.5" floppy drive a. I am probably stupid but I like to try to figure things out for myself first and then seek help...... So HELP !!! Thanks a lot !!!

Check out the LiveUpdate Download, I had the same problem and looks like the good people here fixed it.

I downloaded the new liveupdate.ini file you posted (I am currently using TH 2.5 Beta 2) except I downloaded it to TrojanHunter 2.5/Tools/LiveUpdate and know I have no problems except for a minor one. Even if I have the latest update , it still goes ahead and installs the same set  again. Thanks for the help!!!
