Beginner w/question about TrojanHunter

I'm new to posting as well as TrojanHunter, and would appreciate any help RE: Setup. The Help/Files-Index indicates that in the "Options" panel, I can (and should) turn heuristic scanning OFF - Unless, I have the "Check for False Positives" Enabled.
Well... I do see in the Options menu "Enable Advanced Trojan Analyzer" - and it is checked, but there is no subtext RE: False Positives... I don't see any option labeled as Heuristic scanning.
Also with the program running, if I visit a web page, with a malicious trojan trying to infect my PC... am I warned "on the spot" - or will I find out, only if I download and run a scan on a downloaded file?

Hi Kathy,
Welcome at TH.
You should post your question in the Trojan Hunter Frorum to be sure to have an answer. Wink
The new version(3.7) has no more Heuristic scanning option due to too amny false positives.
The Advanced Trojan Analyzer does the job an other way.
If you have Trojan Guard enabled you're protected.
