Oblivion, Who is Playing?

I have been playing it quite a bit.  Now I am working on some Game Mods, with several different modders.  My computer has been upgraded to work on it, requires more highend video cards than most games.  I can run it at low quality 640x480 with my nVida 6200, but am planning on getting a better card later this year.

Just wondering,

Not tried that one yet - still wading through Myst series and have Neverwinter Nights on standby for when I've done that, plus finished GTA San Andreas (only been going on that for a year or so). Any links?

FWIW, graphics cards - best choice at the moment is ATI Radeon X1950XTX, but only on PCI-E.

BTW, congrats on the new 8-star status! Now, I'm sure I have a few spare stars gathering dust under my desk...

As to the eight star-status did that more than 9 months ago, haven't had a lot to say recently.  The 1950 is a nice graphics card for the ATI/AMD Corporation, but the Nvida top of the line seems to score better when running Oblivion.  However, since I have neither one, I would salivate at having either one for my computer.

Ill tell you this i played oblivion with my ATI x700 radeon card without a hitch what so ever. All the graphics were lined perfectly with shading and pixel rate i was blown away with this game.I finished it and got to go again on the harder levels and finding more trinkets and chests i never knew exsisted.Still getting a better video card is a great thing to do and i am going to go to a new card soon and the one i am going to go to is....

EVGA geforce 8800 GTX 768MB pci-e card.
This thing is going to set me back about a good 850 dollars but it is going to be worth it.This also has a direct x ten configuration, and since alot of the games out there dont have direct x 10,im pretty sure this card will adapt to the directx 9.0c configuration for todays games. The really good thing about this card its got the DVI to VGA cable connector so people wont be needing the DVI cable for DVI connector to their monitor. As for oblivion using the X600 to X800 series is a great way to play. But yes upgrade soon because the new games are coming and what they will need is some heavyweight cards and processors. And this card is a heavyweight with a coreclock of 575 mghtz, membus 384-bit,memclock 1800 mghtz, shader clock 1350 mghtz, streamprocessors at 128,membandwidth 86.4GB.

My system is not too bad...
AMD64 3000+
corsair ram 1gig
WD drive 1/4 terrabyte
ati radeon X700 256mbs
sound blaster X-FI extreme music card
5.1 speaker system
cd/dvd re-rw 52x

But what i want is this......
AMD64 AM2 FX-60
ASUS m2n32 WS pro motherboard
OCZ Titanium dual channel 2048mb ram chips at 800mghtz
XFX Geforce 8800 GTX 768mb gddr3 video card.
I think about 2700 dollars will do it lolololo oh my god its going to be sweet soon.

I took a look at some screenshots. Looks great.

So, Jamming how many hours (give or take 10-20 or so) do you guesstimate you've been playing?

I just finished one (the first-time): "Genoforge 4," but the graphics aren't nearly as good, I'm sure, as some of the others out there. It took me about 200 hours or so, I think.

Whoops, sorry about the delay in responding.  I have 260 hours in just my last character.  I have done about 6 other character's to roughly the same level give or take a few hours, so in the past year I should of been employed doing Oblivion.  I estimate about 1750 hours overall, not including time doing voice over's for some peoples Mods, trying to learn the construction set, and fixing my own mistakes.

However, lately I have had another project going.
