- What version of TrojanHunter do you have installed? - Is TrojanHunter licensed and with a current subscription? - Is your Vista OS a 32-bit or is it 64-bit? - Is this occurring when you are using an account that has full administrative privileges or is it when you are signed on with a limited account? - And finally, is UAC active on your Vista? The latest version of TH is V5.2.988. If you are not running the latest version, please upgrade to V5.2.988 Also check Data Execution Prevention - Go to Control Panel>System - Select "Advanced system settings" - Select "Advanced" tab - Under Performance, click on "Settings" - Select "Data Execution Prevention" - Select "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only" - Click on Apply and OK - Reboot (if change was made)
