Yes, THGuard runs fine with NIS 2009. Personally, I've tried ThreatFire and NIS 2009 and it seemed to slow down Internet surfing. This was on Vista. In my opinion, THGuard and NIS 2009 are a good security combination. Gavin focuses the rulesets of TH on malicious items that other security programs fail to detect or are slow to incorporate into their detections.
