TH Guard - very inconspicuous

Hi

I have been using TH for a while now, and am very happy with the additional level of protection it gives in addition to Kaspersky Internet Security which I also use.

However, if I scan my PC with TH, the scan is always clear. OK, this is good news, but does this mean:

No trojan attempt has been made on my PC, or
Any attempts have been blocked by the Guard, or
Has the Kaspersky firewall stopped them before the THGuard?

There are no pop-up prompts telling you that an attack has been prevented (e.g. like Kaspersky does with things like the Helkern worm). Is there anyway I can discover what attacks, if any, TH has blocked, e.g. something like an activity report perhaps?

Or is TH Guard very modest, and does not like to brag about what it is doing   Grin Grin Grin

Thanks

When malicious items are removed by TH scanner or THGuard, they are placed in the Quarantine area for TH.  If you open TH scanner and click on the Quarantine icon on the left icon bar, you will see what is in Quarantine.

Keep in mind that when you have more than one security program running realtime protection, it is always "Who sees/detects it first" gets all the glory.   Wink

Also if you uncheck the setting in THGuard that is "Automatically Remove Trojan", you will get a prompt from THGuard when it detects malicious items in memory.  You then have to accept or reject quarantining the malicious item.  Leaving this option checked is the safest method unless you are always at your computer to catch the alert promptly.
