TH 5.0 and RAM Usage

 Hello  ,
 
I  have  here  XP Home SP2  with  just  three  third-party apps  running  on-access : TH 5.0 ( build 958 ) , KAV 7.0.0.125  and  8Signs FW 3.0 .
 
Using  Windows  and  also  TaskInfo  , I  confirmed  a  RAM usage  of  +/- 9.980 ( KAV )  , +/- 6.270 ( 8Signs ) and  +/-16.600 ( TH Guard ) .
 
Why   TH Guard  has   to  use  so  much  resources  , more  than  my  FW  plus  the   AV ?

My CPU use for THG is 5112 at this moment.
 
KIS + spystopoper pro + THG
 
KIS : 14 864
SpyStopper pro : 12 076

16 MB sounds a bit high. Which tool are you using to measure the memory use? If it's Windows Task Manager, which column are you getting the reading from?

On Vista Business I see ~11.1 mbytes "working ram" for THG.  If I kick in self protection, this jumps to 12.2 mbytes.

 Using  Task Info  from iarns.com  and  Windows' Task Manager  : Process  > Memory Usage  -  and  both measures match  .

Running TH 5.0 build 958  on XP, I see 11,292 in Mem Usage and 6544 in VM Size (Task Manager)
