TrojanHunter and Vista

I am running Vista Home Premium and decided to go ahead and try using TH on it a week ago [used TH on both win2000 and XP pro].
So far, the only problems I have seen are:
I cannot start TH Scanner from the right click menu of TH Guard in the system tray.
Although I have an auto update scheduled in the settings, it fails to run [possibly related to the first problem?].
 
I can run Scanner by starting it from the start menu.
Live Update will run from the system tray right click menu.  Cool
 
Scans seem to run normally and updates install all right.  Grin

While I had it running on Vista Premium, it would scan okay, etc.  Right click scanning from Windows Explorer doesn't work and I found similar issues with THGuard that you are experiencing.  I did not see any indications of false positives being detecting during scans.  
 
I would be very hesitant to let it remove any infection because I don't know if it can do that properly in Vista.  Until Magnus and Gavin give the "A-Ok", tread cautiously please.

Since it is now June and still no sign of any update of any type, went ahead and uninstalled TH.  Undecided
If an update is released before my current license expires, I will reinstall, otherwise looks like the cost of the last license renewal was mostly wasted.  Sad
Looking for a Vista capable Trojan program.  Huh

Fully understand.  I'm not sure of when the Vista version will be ready for testing.  On 17-May, Magnus commented in the Beta forum section that it will be available for testing soon.  I suspect that it has been a bit of struggle getting everything to work properly with Vista's UAC, etc.

You should be able to extend your license via the annual subscription extension price of $19.95.  The originally purchased license stays valid.  You can email Magnus at support@misec.net and obtain an extension so that you can receive the update and also continue to receive LiveUpdates...if you wish.  Wink
