Hi,
 
I have just re-installed windows xp sp 2 and after installing trojan hunter 4.6 I get 2 icons in system tray. I have never had this problem before and not using any software different than before.
 
I found the topic : http://www.misec.net/forum/board/THGuard/1139637882
 
I have tried what was on this page but still no luck. As soon as I enable 'load on startup' I get two of them loading again when windows starts.

Welcome to the forum Sam,  Wink
 
It sounds like you have another security program that is blocking changes to the startup registry...such as AdAware's Ad-Watch.  Please check that first and disable that option long enough to get rid of one of the THGuard startup entries.  
 
You should be able to:
 
1.  Double click on one of the THGuard icons; uncheck the "Load on Startup" setting; click on OK to close the settings windows.
 
2.  Repeat (1) for the second THGuard icon.  
 
3.  Unload both THGuard.  
 
4.  Reboot and you should have no THGuard running.
 
5.  Start THG from the Programs list; double click on the icon in the systray to open the settings window; check mark the "Load on Startup" setting; click on OK.  
 
That should do it for you.
