possible false positive!  of borlndmm.dll

Hi: I just got a THGuard false positive (I think) of borlndmm.dll. It is a dll in my East-Tec Eraser 2007 program. This is a trusted program and a brand new installation of a clean file from East Technologies website. It just occurred today Nov. 22, 2006. THGuard quarantines the file and then if you restore it, Windows won't recognize it. TH identifies it as TrojanSpy.Delf.261.  If I scan the individual file (Borland Memory Manager) using the rules set prior to the newest one,[30: G20061116_0952.trf] the file comes out as clean. note: I deleted the newest rules set, while troubleshooting this. I read some other posts that were similar to my problem. Right now I have THGuard shut down so I can use Eraser. Please let me know what you come up with.  Roll Eyes

Update: I installed the latest ruleset just now and tried the single file scan of borlndmm.dll and it still comes clean, so I have the THGuard turned off for now. Til I hear instructions/suggestions from you guys. Thanks in advance. Tongue

Howdy back at ya, siliconman01. I just did the update and turned on the THGuard. I ran my East-Tec Eraser and all systems are GO! Brilliant work, Gavin. Grin BTW, I recognize Gavin's name from my TDS-3 days. So, Magnus, you have a mighty good man on board! Trojan Hunter is the uber AT. PS: the reason I haven't been to the forum for so long, is that TH works so good. This is the very first glitch I have had since the last day of Radius updates, quite some time ago. Tak sa mycket.
