THGuard and Spy Sweeper V5.0 Beta

Is anyone else experiencing a significant CPU utilization spike with THG active and running the beta 3 version of Spy Sweeper V5.0?  
 
I'm seeing THGuard spiking up to 40% on THG's 10 second polling scan of memory with SS V5.0 installed.  This is occurring with THG's self protection inactive.  
 
Windows XP-SP2 HE with 1.5 gbyte DRAM and 2.6 ghertz P4.

Likely scanning what THGuard reads, and "adding cycles" by taking away actual processor cycles (analysing what THGuard is doing while THGuard is trying to scan)
 
Surely there's an exclude, which would fix it if you use that ??

There's no way to exclude in either THGuard or SS...none that I am aware of.  Even unchecking "scan all modules" in THG does not change the spiking to any degree.

Sounds like an issue to me Grin
 
Best they can do is reproduce it and try to minimise it. An ignore option would be better but I'm not too hopeful if its not already in there Roll Eyes

Yup, it's due to spysweeper version 5.x. If I disable webroot spysweeper from services, restart,then THguard works normally. If I then run spysweeper, the process would be started, and THguard would go through cycles of very high cpu usage.
