Welcome to the forum foofoo Quote:| Why is this happening? If I hit OK button, the guard icon in the trays says it is an unregistered copy. I DO have a registered version of Trojan Hunter! |
| When you installed TH V4.2, Build 908, did you move your License.dat file into the C:\Program Files\TrojanHunter 4.2 folder? This file is required to be always in your TH folder because it is the license verification file. The License.dat file should have been attached to an email that you received from Misec.net when you purchased the program. Be sure to keep a copy of it safely tucked away because it is always needed in the folder. Shut down THGuard; move the License.dat file into the C:\Program Files\TrojanHunter 4.2 folder; restart TH Guard. Then double click on the TH Guard icon in your lower right Notification Bar (Task Bar); set your THGuard settings (all active is recommended). Then run a LiveUpdate to download the latest definitions. Because you are currently showing as unregistered (unlicensed), you get the error message when trying to update. Only licensed versions can perform the LiveUpdate. HTHs
