TrojanHunter Guard stays disabled

I recently purchased a new licence, and followed instructions to re-install a trail version.  When opening up TrojanHunter Guard from the quick launch bar, it says it is disabled andf that the trial period has expired.  However when right clicking the quick launch icon I can run the scanner and live update, but the 'enabled' option is greyed out which means I don't have live protection.  As I have just purchased it I am not getting the full value out of it, how can I fix the problem so I can enable the Guard?
 
Any thoughts/suggestions most welcome.

Did you paste a copy of the License.dat file in your C:\Program Files\TrojanHunter 4.2 folder?
