Failed Again

TrohanHunter Guard doesn't seem to be working. Its not
stopping Trojan Horse Virus's from being installed on my computer. I did a full computer scan using the TrojanHunter Scanner and found a virus. This seems to happen alot!!!!
TrojanHunter Guard does nothing and I have to waste over 20 minutes to do a complete scan to find a virus.

Actually that might be a good sign.  The Guard only scans memory; if no trojan actually loaded into memory, it means you were never infected; that is, the trojan file was dormant on your filesystem but never became active in memory.  The Guard scans memory, not your filesystem; the Scanner scans your files and the Guard scans memory.  Hope that helps to encourage you; hang in there!  Wink

It is also the job of your AntiVirus scanner to prevent malware from loading into your filesystem; but some AVs do not have good detection of trojans.  What AV are you using, if I might ask?  We are here for you, trying to help if we can; be encouraged!  Wink
