...whose names contain non-ASCII characters.

Due to a malware problem, I recently downloaded quite a lot of anti-virus software and anti-malware scanners in hope of cleaning the mess up 100.0%.

Trojan Hunter turned out to be unable to access any folder whose name contained Polish national characters Smiley (each and every one of them was reported as an "Error: Directory not found"). It was the only program of the bunch (including a-squared, AdAware, SpywareDoctor, MalwareBytes, avast! etc. to name a few) which reported such difficulty.
Of course, I can't rule out that some of them simply skipped the scan without telling me about it.
However, both Windows Explorer and Total Commander allow me to navigate through these folders without making any fuss about it, and in fact every application I used to this day lets me access all files located there - otherwise I'd have renamed the folders long ago.

My OS = XP Home Edition SP2 (English version).

National chars in question: ąćęłńóśźż ĄĆĘŁŃÓŚŹŻ

I used the latest (free) version of TrojanHunter, downloaded just today.
