Automatic updates schedule

I have TH installed on my daughter's laptop and I like to have updates for all security software done without needing any intervention from her. I notice with TH (unless I'm missing something) that you can only set the automatic updates for a particular time of the day rather than say X minutes after boot up. So unless she happens to be on her computer at a specific time the updates won't get done.
Suggestions? Thanks++++++++++++++=

Welcome to the forum Koolmd,

Are you running Windows XP or Vista?  If so, you can go into the Task Scheduler and set the Repeat option to "almost" accomplish what you want.

1.  Using TH GUI>Schedule icon>Schedule LiveUpdate and have it start at say 6:00 a.m. every day.

2.  Then go into the system Task Scheduler and select the TH LiveUpdate task.  Via the options in the Task Scheduler for a scheduled task, set TH Liveupate to repeat every 1 hour or 2 hours indefinitely.

If you are using Vista, the Task Scheduler has a feature that permits you to set up a Task to run on system startup (with a delay option if you want).

I thought of something slightly different. I have WinPatrol Plus and I have it add LiveUpdate.exe to start programs and so the window for it pops up after logging on and all my daughter has to do is click "Next" and then "Close" and the update is done.
