Hi,

Am running the latest version of TH (4.5 - Build 918) and know that you can scan either a folder (which will scan all its files and subfolders) or a single file using the context menu.

MY AV software's context menu scan functionality permits me to "select" (for example, by CTRL + left mouse click) various files from a list of files in my file manager and then scan them for viruses, and I sorely miss this capability in TH. Is this something that can be added to a future verison of TH? Thanx. jay

I'd like this feature too.

With some programs there comes a point where you should concentrate efforts on the NEW not the old. I don't know if this is going to be a v5 or v4 feature, it really doesn't matter THAT much whether we get it straight away. You can scan the whole folder pretty quick right ? that's all I do Wink

This multi-file rightclick scan ability has been a TBD feature for some time now {I have been one of the main people to suggest it} --NAV has had the ability for years; I guess it just has not had high priority, what with the modem people demanding small differential updates and many other suggestions taking higher priority I suppose. For the time being, you could just create a temp folder, copy the files you want to scan into that folder, then scan the whole folder -- a bit of a pain {extra effort} but accomplishes the same thing -- then delete the temp folder when done. HTH ..
