Any plans to include rootkit detection in Trojan Hunter?

I was under the impression that the Advanced Trojan Analyzer did detect rootkits, as well as keyloggers, etc., - basically all forms of malware.  Can anyone verify if this is correct?

Yes, TH does detect Rootkits and Keyloggers.  If you open TH scanner, click on the "Trojan" icon and do a search for
Rootkit and then Keylogger you will see which ones are detected.  Others may be embedded in other "named" trojans that are detected by TH.

As has been stated many times, TH is no substitute for a dedicated AntiSpyware application.  No doubt the same applies to rootkit detection: TH can help but is no substitute for the detection capabilities provided by other security programs. Wink

And yes we update all detection, all of the time. I think there are more detected, some might just be called HacDef or other names. I'll always name dedicated rootkits as Rootkit.<whatever> in future.
