Here is a short explanation about the prefixes used for bug report posts:
 
[OPEN] means someone has looked at the problem, however briefly, and that it isn't an obvious user error or other simple problem that is not a bug.
 
[CLOSED] means the problem was a bug and has been fixed, or has been determined not to be a bug, or that it is something that could not be duplicated. The fact that the prefix is "[CLOSED]" does not mean that the thread is locked - feel free to reply in the thread if you feel the bug is still occurring. The prefix may be changed to [OPEN] again.
 
Other prefixes may be added later.
