This applies to Windows 7 x64 and x86.   The error is 100% repeatable.   TH scanner GUI must be in Advanced View Mode.  
 
1.  Open TH scanner GUI
 
2.  In the top menu, click on "Plugins..." under Help
 
3.  The new error detector software is activated  
 
I sent in the error report via email.
 
Note:  A second error email was also sent that pertains to Plugins.  The email is titled "TH V5.3.993 Beta1-  Another PlugIn Error"
