A flaw in Microsoft's Web Browser component (an integral part of Internet Explorer) can enable anyone who sends you e-mail to launch an executable file on your computer if you're using Eudora. It boils down to this: If you are letting Eudora use the default folder to store attachments, you are vulnerable to this exploit. Any e-mail you view in Eudora from now on until you take action to fix this could prove fatal. Solution: Don't let Eudora use Microsoft's IE component to view mail (Tools->Options->Viewing Mail, uncheck "Use Microsoft's viewer"), or change the folder Eudora uses to store attachments to something that an attacker cannot guess (see http://eudora.com/techsupport/kb/2020hq.html).
