Welcome to the forum jim_simon I suspect this is a False Positive being issued by Panda. I've got this registry key on my XP-SP2 system and none of my security programs are picking it up as malicious. These include Norton Antivirus 2005, AdAware SE Plus, Pest Patrol 2005, CounterSpy, SpySweeper and a few others. If you want to compare registry keys, mine looks like this: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\{48E59292-9880-11CF-9754-00AA00C00908}] @="DInetEvents" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\{48E59292-9880-11CF-9754-00AA00C00908}\ProxyStubClsid] @="{00020420-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\{48E59292-9880-11CF-9754-00AA00C00908}\ProxyStubClsid32] @="{00020420-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\{48E59292-9880-11CF-9754-00AA00C00908}\TypeLib] @="{48E59290-9880-11CF-9754-00AA00C00908}" "Version"="1.0" HTHs
