Hello I am new to this forum but i am a regualar at the elder geek, and someone recommended that I come here for my question...

Alright here is my problem... I Know i have a keylogger on my school computer because my teacher said that there was one on there and he told everyone in the class that he would give us $20.00 AND 100 points extra credit if we could find it... sooo is there a program that is dedicated to just detecting a keyloggerHuh I have done multiple scans using trend micro but i have turned up nothing....

I could use the money and the extra credit!!!

If this program detects your specific keylogger, send the file to    submit@misec.net    via email.  Magnus may wish to include it in the definitions of TrojanHunter.

SpyCop is probably the best anti-keylogger app you can use:

A keylogger can also be in the form of hardware. Don't forget to check the back of the computer.

Alright thanx for the posts but I have gotten this out of my teacher... it appears that the keylogger isn't a program... It is in the form of .dll's and apparently they will record your key strokes and then a server will retreive their logs on his request... so yes this has been a very time consuming process, All 6 students in the class are madly searching through their system files and such to find this... All the while our teacher and his T.A. are laughing their asses off at us....  Any other suggestionsHuh

I used http://www.softspecialist.com/Anti-keylogger-1725/Anti-keylogger.htm and I had success with it. It is dedicated to detect keyloggers.

Hey, you might also try Zone Alarm Force Field. Our free beta "virtualizes" your browsing, so keyloggers can't get any personal or password info. It has lots of other security and privacy benefits too, If you'd like to learn more or even try teh beta, it could be the perfect solution to your concerns.

Good luck to you!
