e2com.exe malware ?

Hello everybody !
I noticed since a lot of time that, everytime I start Internet Explorer, there is a little blank that appears in the system tray. It happens to be the e2com.exe application, located in the C:\WINDOWS\ directory, accompanied with something like e2setup.exe, from the Europe Explorer society... Does anyone know if this is spyware or any malware ? I haven't seen it on any other computer. However, I deleted it and I think I shouldn't have, because iexplore doesn't start anymore... Embarassed  
 
My configuration :
-Windows XP home edition SP1  
-Internet explorer, customized by the computer's constructor,     Packard Bell (might the problem come from that ?)
-ZoneAlarm
-AntivirXP

Undecided I'm sorry I don't have it any more... I deleted it permanently, way too quickly in fact, IE won't work any more... Nor does it if I un-and-reinstall it from windows' control panel, or if I download it from microsoft's website. I'm now searching the web to download a file like e2com.exe or e2setup.exe...

e2com.exe and e2setup.exe are part of easyClic software.
see : http://www.easyclick.com/visite/ or http://www.easyclick.com/ for more details.
 
to remove it just go in the controlPanel in add/remove Softwares... and remove easyClic.
 
this softwares permit to switch between free and payant sites... and is proposed by 9telecom...
 
if you don't want to go to payant sites, remove it...
 
tip: you can use the services of the sofware without sending information to easyClic by configuring carefully your firewall. (for the version i've got : 3.0.0.7)
