LiveUpdate rule count going backwards?!

Hmmm...
 
I seem to be going in the wrong direction...
 
Yesterday's  live update 2007-03-15 with 112187
rules worked fine.
 
Just ran live update for 2007-03-16 with 112385
rules and got this...

Another strange thing, when the update download
progress bar got to the far right, it showed 105%.
 
Updating again tells me I allready have the latest
rule set.
 
Thinking there might be a problem with the USA sever,
I tried with the Europe one but got the same results.
 
What to do??

Something definitely got messed up in your most recent LiveUpdate.  Please do this:
 
1.  UNLOAD/STOP THGuard.exe from running in memory.
 
2.  Using Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Program Files\TrojanHunter 4.6\RuleFiles and open folder RuleFiles.
 
3.  Delete everything in folder RuleFiles EXCEPT the file named LiveUpdate.ini.
 
4.  Close Windows Explorer.
 
5.  Open TH scanner and run a LiveUpdate.  
(I just fully updated from both the European and USA servers and obtained the proper update from both.)
 
6.  Verify that you have 112385 rulesets.
 
7.  Restart THGuard.exe
 
That should fix you up.  Wink

Did as you suggested and it appears that I'm,
er... um... TH is back to normal again!
 
I'll try to keep this in mind for when/if this
should happen again.

Re-Update" in the FAQ section would have helped
