Live update

Have just upgraded to v4.5 and purchased a licence file extension for 1 year. When attempting to use Live Update it gets as far as looking for host name and then the computer reboots. Have tried this about half a dozen times with the same result. Help required please. OS is Win XP-Pro sp2 fully patched.

Please direct LiveUpdate to the USA server for LiveUpdate.  The European server is broken.  
 
Does LiveUpdate now work for you?
 
If not, please check your software firewall and make sure it is not blocking the new version of TH LiveUpdate.

siliconman01[b] Thanks for your suggestions but I had already done so before posting. However what I have done is to remove all instances of TH live update from firewall (ZAF not Windows) recreated the rule for Live Update, rebooted and lo and behold - Live Update connected to USA server and told me I had the latest update which I knew because I had downloaded it manually.
Might be of use to other people who experience the same and have their firewall setup correctly, just remove from firewall and then recreate the rule set again.

This sounds like ZAF did not detect a new version of LiveUpdate and regenerate a permission request alert.  Sad
