Error, downloaded update file is corrupt...file is only 1204 bytes.
How can I fix this and also how do I enable LU to automatically go out on a schedule and update its definitions?

When you do a LiveUpdate, does it say your license has expired or that your data is corrupt?
 
If it is data corrupt, try the other server.  Also make sure your firewall is not blocking LiveUpdate.
 
If it is that your license has expired, then send an email to Magnus at  
support<at>misec.net  (<at>=@).  Explain to him what is occurring and provide him your license extension info such as the purchase ID (receipt) number.
