live update not working

Hi,
been looking through the forum but haven't found an answer or solution I recognized...
Last month I updated this win98se box to version 4.5 build 918 and followed the directions posted with the download to manually upgrade the definitions as liveupdate had been broken for win98se and winme machines.  I haven't been able to use the liveupdating as of two tries today; one attempt before purchasing the new subscription license and one after buying and installing the new license. Both attempts resulted in the "cannot move file" error and hung the machine.
 
It's Been a month since my last update and I didn't find any assurance that that manual update actually installed, how can we get this working and updated, please?

HI, Sorry, just found a reference to using at least build 920 so will go reinstall and see if that fixes all.  Will report results when I know.

Hi,
Yup, my own fault for not plowing through enough of the messages to run across the build advice.  Downloaded the latest, installed over my older build and the cumulative updated settled in with no error message.
 
Keepin' my fingers crossed!

Sorry that you had problems with the initial release of V4.5.  But glad you found and resolved the issue by upgrading to the latest Build 922.    Smiley
 
LiveUpdates are coming out almost every day now.  Gavin is pumping out new rulesets rapidly.     Grin
