Cannot get new updates

From the forum posts I see that new updates were available on both 23 and 24 March 2006.  I have not been able to get them, either via the US or European servers.  I merely get the message that I already have the latest updates installed, yet mine show as...

You must update to V4.5 of TrojanHunter which was released yesterday 23-Mar-06.  LiveUpdate or Manual Update no longer works for V4.2 or earlier.  Please see the release info in the TrojanHunter Scanner section of the forum.

I spoke too soon it appears.  I updated to TrojanHunter 4.5.  Using my registration key from 4.2 allowed me to register 4.5 without problems.  I then ran LiveUpdate using the USA Server and got the 20060324 incremental update.  Just to be certain I was updated fully, I ran LiveUpdate again on the European Server and got the Cumulative 20060322.trf (3.35 MB) download, which TH said it installed successfully.
 
Being paranoid, after rebooting, I ran LiveUpdate again from both the USA and European Servers.  USA said that the latest updates were already installed.  The European Server however began another download of the Cumulative 200603.22.trf file.
 
So what am I doing incorrectly?  If the list below is current, why the repetitive download of the Cumulative file?

There is an issue with the USA server that Magnus is working on sorting out.  Both services properly update; however, if you switch back and forth between servers there appears to be a synchronization issue that will cause TH LiveUpdate redownload.  
 
Your posted update info shows the correct info for the latest LiveUpdate.  For the time being, just stick to using the same server all the time.  I'm sure this problem will be worked out in the upcoming days...it's a server issue, not a V4.5 LiveUpdate issue.

I should point out that I did not get the same updates from both Servers.  US Server gave me a small incremental update, while the European Server gave me a cumulative, 3.35MB update--the dates were different on the two downloads as well.  My point was that if I tried the European site again, it tried to download the same cumulative file yet again.  Seems to me that this is a bit different from what you experienced, yet might well be associated with the same phenonmenon.
 
I am glad to know that I am now up to date, and I will be patient and stick with the USA Server and wait for Magnus to sort it out.  Thanks very much for the help!

Hi,
My OS is win98se,so having the problem as has been reported---error message-.
My ruleset rules sits at 56605 for 2006/03/22,but this is not correct as there has been 2 updates since then.
When I go to manually DL the rulesets,the site is telling me that they are NOT "currently Available"
How can we get the new updates please.

We are waiting for Magnus to issue a new build that should correct this problem that is occurring on all Windows 98 and Windows ME systems.  There is no way to "work around" this V4.5 problem.  Hopefully we will see the fix very soon.

This is a TEMPORARY option, I don't know what Magnus will do in future for manual updates if it will be needed, but this is for the Win9x users Smiley

I released another 2 trojan, 8 rule increment. Zip is now updated too.
 
Holding off now until Magnus fixes the problem, feel free to update and be ready for a new installer next Smiley
