Welcome to the forum Skyboxdock Your supplied info is a bit sketchy. I assume you have the Licensed version of TH V4.2 installed. Please try this concerning your update problem. Unload THGuard.exe using the THGuard.exe icon in the lower right Systray. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the C:\Program Files\TrojanHunter 4.2 folder and open it. Locate the file Rulesets.ini and right click on it. Select Properties from the menu. Uncheck the Read Only box at the bottom of the Properties window. Save the change and close Windows Explorer. Restart THGuard.exe Clean out your temporary internet files using the Internet Options utility in the Control Panel. Then run LiveUpdate. If it fails again, please supply the following. 1. Your Windows Operating System version. 2. What Version of TrojanHunter you are using and whether it is the Licensed or Trial version. 3. What the error message is that you receive. Please let us know if this corrects LiveUpdate for you.
