Is TH required anymore?

My subscription expires in 3 days & I have noticed if I purchase a renewal this week it is $14.95 U.S. A good deal but only if TH is going to protect my system from trojans that my other programs can't.
So, I would like to know the truth...I use NOD32 Ver3 always updated, SuperAntiSpyware Paid, Comodo behind a NAT, Browse with I.E. 7 & Firefox latest, Anonymizer Total Net Shield, Sophos Anti-Rootkit, MalwareBytes Anti-Malware Free on demand, I make regular Drive Images using Norton Ghost 2003.

Please answer how TH is going to catch something these others can't & clean my machine.

PS...I'm not attempting to start an argument..I just don't want to spend my funds needlessly.
Thank You

As I am sure you are aware, each developer has its own analysts who focus their product on what they feel are the most important detections.  And products vary as to how effective they are in removing infections once on your machine.

Gavin has stated that TrojanHunter focuses on infections that are slow to be incorporated in other security programs' detection rules and/or those that are rapidly spreading.  Plus he stays on top of those that attempt to steal info for banking.

You have a big security cadre on your system, all of which are highly regarded.  So, in my opinion, it is strictly up to you as to which ones you feel it is necessary to maintain...and which ones you trust the most for keeping your specific system protected.

Siliconman01, agreed..each has their own focus...I'm still unsure if I am any more secure so to speak by having TH installed..I should mention that I do not bank online. I do my banking at the bank via teller not ATM's either as I don't trust their security.

I realize that there is no perfect security solution regardless of what some may say, I do make a few purchases online via SSL/HTTPS. Risky at the best of times, but if I can find a cheaper price online at well known online stores I don't feel it's much more risky than passing my credit card to a stranger in a store etc.

My surfing typically is not considered that risky...I stay away from typical unsafe sites...porn, p2p, I never recieve spam, don't click on links in email..all incoming/outgoing email is scanned, I keep an eye on the # of processes running & cpu cycles...firewall logs are clean.

Programs I use are well known & always updated to latest, passwords are all long & mixed.

Ok, anyone that reads this is most likely tired of my long winded post so I'll end.

Well Magnus & all, after using TrojanHunter for several years...since TDS3 ended..another story as some of you know. I've waited for someone to pass me on enough of a reason to keep TrojanHunter, but no one has answered the call.
Fair enough as I have to make up my own mind anyway.

To end, I would just like to thank the people who make TrojanHunter possible & for their far above average customer support during my time with you.

All the best in the years to come & much success as well.
