Once you are licensed, the upgrade/update + support for TH are free. There is an annual subscription fee after the first year after you first license TH. This permits you to continue to get upgrades/updates/definition rulesets. You can just port it onto your Vista system when the Vista version is issued. I recommend that you also consider adding a hardware firewall/router to your new cable modem system such as a Linksys BEFSX41....even if you are just a single computer. The security gurus over at the www.dslreports.com forum can provide you a lot of assistance for determining the proper router for your system. It will be a major step forward in your war on the cybercriminals...and for less than $100. I wouldn't leave home without it...a router, that is.
