This is from previous post, that has not been answered. I know you are busy, but is this a bug or not?

After further testing, I found that the license file is not disappearing from the desktop, but is being placed or copied into the TH v4.5 folder. Build 922

If I Unload TH guard and remove the license .tlf file from the TH folder, and then open TH it appears unlicensed. If I then double click on the license file (saved to the desktop) and in turn load TH guard, and then TH the license info in the about box appears correct. It also seems correct if TH guard is loaded when I run the license.tlf file.

So the only thing NOT happening is the message asking whether to replace the license file.  This message, however, appears if you remove the license, tlf file from the TH folder, etc., and run installicense.exe and paste in the code.

So it is posssible this behavior is as designed (but it seems a bug to me that the replace message does not appear).  It seems to me that it is much better interface design for the remove license message to appear in both cases.  It would also seem that this is necessary if one were upgrading a license, n'est pa?

This is as designed. The old license file will automatically be overwritten. I might remove the confirmation dialog when the license is installed using the authorization code as for the sake of consistency.

the previous way with the confirmation dialog, is much better human interface design. I suggest that you put it back/and leave as is when using code!

With the confirmation dialog the user knows what is happening, that there already exists a license and whether or not it will be overwritten, as for an update; as might happen when those users who have v4.5, but have not upgraded buy a new license.

Just my opinion that your original way is much better design... Grin
