That is correct.  If you have not extended your license through the subscription paid license requirement, you will no longer receive any ruleset updates (manual or automatic) or program updates.

would there be any problem with moving the licensed copy of trojan hunter off my laptop and then putting it on the desktop unit?
 
i can uninstall all the components of trojan hunter from the laptop because i don't use it to go on the net at unsecured sites.

No, there should not be any problem.  The license is for "one computer" irrespective of which computer.  1 license = 1 computer.

i did ,
i got it all removed from the one unit and installed the new one, version 922.
 
it sure wants to leave a lot of files behind,
 i had to use the unlocker tool and eraser to get rid of it all,
so, the current license is good until jan,1st,'07
 
i found out i really don't need it on my laptop,
i only go to secure bank sites to pay online bills with it.
