This sounds like your boot disk line-up in BIOS is not set correctly. Boot into SETUP (normally F2 key at the very beginning of the boot process). Check the order of the startup disks on boot up. Normally the order is something like: Floppy Disk Main Hard Drive CD Another thing to check is the battery on your Motherboard. Replace the battery.
