Disk Boot Failure

I keep getting the message that says DISK BOOT FAILURE enter disk cd and press enter

but i dont have my xp disc or any disc

and ive seen solutions but they all include some sort of disc how can i fix this problem without a disc?

This sounds like your boot disk line-up in BIOS is not set correctly. Boot into SETUP (normally F2 key at the very beginning of the boot process). Check the order of the startup disks on boot up. Normally the order is something like:

Floppy Disk
Main Hard Drive
CD

Another thing to check is the battery on your Motherboard. Replace the battery.

it wasnt the bios order

and is the battery the only other thing it could be?

and how much are the batterys cuz i dont wanna buy a battery just to find out that wasnt the problem
